    They catered our company today...
    * They were supposed to grill the food here, but they cooked it elsewhere and brought it in.
    * They forgot cheese, so we had to go get our own.
    * Most of us had to microwave our burgers because they were severely under cooked.

That was my first and last experience with Crank's..

I was at my nieces wedding reception here. The service was the worst I ever had. It took them 3 hours to serve dinner and between each course it took them about 20-30 minutes, very unprofessional and it delayed the party. I don't know if they were understaffed or what but it is no way acceptable for a wedding day. Some of the food was undercooked and looked reheated and old, me and some of the family members have gotten food poisoning and I'll probably hear about more cases in the next few days. This place was supposed to fit 300 guests but it barely fit 250. The layout was all wrong and different from what was agreed on with the bride and groom, you couldn't walk between tables which made the servers job even harder. The fruit and dessert table was set up late and had pieces missing. The Bride and Groom were placed all the way at the end of the hall and were away from the guest's. The Bar was OK but only had one side open even though it was agreed that both sides would be open. When asked about it the manager said it costs extra and was rude about accommodating the grooms request. Now this isn't the first wedding I attended and speaking from experience there are much better and cheaper places with better service. Don't get me wrong the place looks nice and has a nice outdoor area but service should have been top priority but sadly it killed the atmosphere of the party. I just feel bad for the newlyweds not having their perfect day the way they planned it.

  • My wife and I have had several events at Enchantment by Cranks, and have always been extremely satisfied. The most recent was a bridal shower for our daughter, and we heard nothing but compliments from the guests. We chose the plated, sit down style for the luncheon. The food service began on time, was presented nicely, and tasted great, as usual. The staff was on their toes when it came to clearing the table between courses, as well as anything else we needed.

This company knows what they are doing when it comes to catering events, and they do it well. Being a business owner myself, I know when a company cares about their customers, and Cranks definitely puts their customers first. I highly recommend hiring Cranks for any occasion.

Hmmmm where to start, this could turn into a novel very quick. Knowing Cranker for well over 20 years, referring more showers, grad parties, retirements, memorials, corporate parties, and countless weddings his way over these years.....he was considered a friend and in my book friends HELP friends. Late in 2014 my daughter got engaged and naturally Cranker was where we booked for Sept 2016 (PRIME WEDDING TIME...as Michael called it, good thing we booked early as it'd fill fast, Yada yada).....come Feb of 2016, disasters were striking our family daily......illness, heart attacks, strokes, on and on, but prior to feb, any questions asked generally never got answered as their philosophy was "TEN DAYS PRIOR TO ACTUAL EVENT is when they'd answer questions and finalize....as well as expect payment.....but how do you wait all the months without answers on pricing for extras - candy bar, ice sculpture, and many more that to this day I couldn't tell ya a price cause well just wait and take care of it....I get this family is use to swimming in money, however, in the real world, people need time to save!!! Well tragedy struck again in Feb and my daughter decided she just wasn't ready yet, wanted to move and follow dreams and also started getting struck with illness after illness. At about to be 24 in May, she is facing losing her hearing, can't drive due to extreme vertigo, constant pain, nausea, and this led to anxiety/depression watching her dreams slip away before even age 25. She is unable to work, has medical bills everywhere, just on and on. Cranker and Michael were both told the issues (please again remember this was a friend of more than 20 years), Jeff was to busy doing what he does, I'll leave that alone, to even bother with a reply saying sorry to hear. Michael emailed with the typical salesperson jargon, so sorry, feel bad and so wish I didn't have to make things worse BUT, I just can't return your $1000 as you booked a PRIME DATE so we lost out on money holding it for you (uh, for those really long 3 months it was booked for a prime date (having been in wedding planning......the def of prime date in wedding talk means that generally people ask for that date over and over which creates a wait list for the date so in case anything happens, you have someone in the wings waiting......making rebooking the date extremely easy, meaning not only did money NOT get lost holding the room, but extra was actually made. We were told he wanted so bad to help us and give us back the grand he'd do anything to get it rebooked if he could as then he'd give us our money back. Back to another tantrum about holding such a prime date and losing money and finally finishing that email with, I promise to do everything in my power to rebook your date and get you a refund it's just "going to be so difficult at this short notice - it was Feb, wedding was for sept.....that is SEVEN MONTHS TO BOOK A PRIME DATE.....which my thirteen year old could do in 7 days let alone months, seeing that prime dates get snatched quick. This was one email where he flopped all over contradicting himself again and again in writing. Fun and hey Cranker sure gave new meaning to that word "friend". Time passed, we'd inquire here and there always to the "I'm still really trying to book it for you, I know times are hard for you so I'm REALLY TRYING EVERYTHING TO GET YOU THAT REFUND" - if we got answers at all....funny, going on two years of hell now and yet Cranker has yet to mumble an I'm sorry friend, or do anything. Also ironic, of ALL vendors/everything reserved and deposits made on, etc, MY DEAR BUDDY OF 20 YEARS AND COUNTLESS MONEY MADE FROM PEOPLE IVE REFERRED TO HIM, HE AND HE ALONE, only vendor/venue person I knew personally for so very long, was the ONLY ONE HAVING HIS NEPHEW DENY THE RETURN OF THE GRAND OVER AND OVER AND NOT SAYING A WORD EITHER? He's also the only of anyone we booked who could of returned that grand and NEVER NOTICE IT GONE CAUSE MONEY IS A TOY sadly, the rest of us live in the real world, he should exit the "high" horse one day..

  • We loved Crank's Catering! Crank's provided the catering for our wedding and we were so pleased with the whole experience Crank's provided for us. Lori even assisted me with how to male decisions and with dealing with difficult vendors. Many of our guests remarked on the excellence of the dinner. The bartenders were friendly and flexible. The Crank's staff bent over backward to help us make magic and miracles happen on our wedding night. Thank you Cranks catering! Brian and Laura Mullaney
